There are a ton of school-themed kicks about to drop in time for the upcoming school year, but here’s a pair for sneakerhead moms to grab when they’re out coppin’ for the youngsters. This new Nike WMNS Blazer High looks great with leather accents laid atop a canvas upper. The side panels offer grey and off-white irregular zig-zags, while lavendar laces and Swoosh add depth. The Nike Air Penny II is coming soon in Atlantic Blue and the shoe pictured above owes a good deal of its silhouette to that 1996 original. The Nike Air Penny 1/2 (Half) cent returns in an all black design. The only thing keeping it from being ‘triple black’ is the collection of grey accents including laces, Swoosh marbling and Air bubble. They share the Air Penny line’s superiour cushioning and are perfect for either court or street wear. Grab these now from select Nike retailers and eBay.
It looks like Nike will collaborate with Patta, a premium sneaker boutique out of Amsterdam, on another Nike Air Max 1. The sneaker features a classic color blocking scheme that is reminiscent of the first Air Max 1’s that were released back in the late 80’s. The upper uses a mixture of mesh, canvas, and possibly denim. The colorway is nice and clean as well using only White and Black on the upper with the outsole coming in Gum and Patta’s logo on the heel in Lucky Green. The insole of the shoe features Patta’s “P” logo as well. Look for these shoes to be a Tier Zero release this Holiday 2009 Season. This pair here is a look see sample. Over the weekend, Japanese label, A Bathing Ape, accomplished several things including successfully opening their Bape London Store as well as launching their collaboration with Ghostbusters. In addition, Bape also released these short sleeve plaid shirts in five different styles. Simple and easily wearable, these plaid shirts are now available at Bape Stores for 12,390 YEN.

With each brand having it’s own unique style the pack showcases the diversity and broad appeal the five footwear models have in today’s lifestyle market. Today we take a look at the Forum designed by New York based creative collective, Nom de Guerre.
Nom de Guerre’s Forum builds on the revolutionary basketball shoe’s hardwearing ankle straps and heel support made for hard landings, revising the shoe using the United States Military jungle boot as an inspiration prototype. Next, Nom de Guerre reworked the Forum’s ankle strap to reference war hospital ankle bandaging. Additionally, the colours on the sole of the shoe serves as a reminder of the many hours of target practice accrued during training. The byproduct of these elements is an extremely versatile shoe designed to accommodate a range of climates while providing critical protection over various terrain.
